Programs for Young AudiencesPrograms for Young Audiences, an arm of the La Mirada Theatre for the Performing Arts, brings the finest in live entertainment from around the country and around the world to children and their families.

Programs for Young Audiences was established in 1977 to present the finest in live entertainment for children and their families. Each season, we bring to the theatre a diverse mix of national and international touring attractions specially geared for young audiences ages 5 and up.

In this age of movies and television, this is very often a child's first exposure to a live performance and we go to great lengths to ensure that our shows provide a pleasurable and positive experience. One of our goals is to acquaint our young audiences with proper theatre etiquette.

Uh oh - who let the clowns out? Wait! These clowns are far from your typical bunch. Troubadour Theater's Funky Punks is a high-energy, interactive, circus arts, clown extravaganza. Filled with laughs and lessons, these childlike fools burst out of the box and will dance and tumble their way into your hearts.
