The Journals of Adam & Eve, a new comedy by Ed. Weinberger (creator of “The Mary Tyler Moore Show”) is a delightful look at the world’s first love story. Follow along from  Eden to Exile, their first date to twilight years, bachelor and bachelorette to becoming the world’s first parents. Experience this legendary couple up close when TV legends Hal Linden (“Barney Miller”) and Sally Struthers (“All in the Family”) return to La Mirada Theatre in this laugh-out-loud comedy!

More about Hal Linden…

Hal Linden’s career Hal Lindenhas spanned more than 65 years. He is best known for his iconic portrayal of police precinct captain Barney Miller in the hit series that aired on ABC from 1975-1982 and earned him multiple Golden Globe and Emmy nominations. Linden made his Broadway debut in 1957 in Bells Are Ringing. He later starred in the 1962 revival of Anything Goes, followed by more than 20 Broadway and Off-Broadway productions, including Picasso at the Lapin Agile, The Scottsboro Boys, Tuesdays with Morrie, On Golden Pond, Chicago, Cabaret and The Rothschilds, for which he received a Tony Award for his performance. Feature films include When You Comin’ Back Red Ryder, Bells Are Ringing, Out to Sea with Walter Matthau and Jack Lemmon, Starflight One, A New Life with Alan Alda, Time Changer, and The Samuel Project. His most recent feature film was You People in 2023.

Sally Struthers is a two-time Emmy and Golden Globe award winner for her performance in the groundbreaking TV series, “All in the Family.” She starred in “Nine to Five” (Fox) and her own series, “Gloria” (CBS). She also recurred on the comedy “Still Standing” and the highly acclaimed “Gilmore Girls.” She joined the Gilmore cast for Netflix’s four movie limited revival and guest starred in IFC’s comedy series “Maron.” Television movies include: A Gun in the HouseAnd Your Name is JonahThe Great HoudinisHey… I’m AliveIn the Best Interest of the ChildrenDeadly SilenceMy Husband is Missing, and Intimate Strangers. Sally co-starred in two legendary motion pictures in the 70s: Five Easy Pieces with Jack Nicholson and The Getaway with Steve McQueen and Ali McGraw. She starred on Broadway in Wally’s Café with Jimmy Coco and Neil Simon’s female version of The Odd Couple with Brenda Vaccaro. For three years she starred as Miss Mamie Lynch on Broadway and on tour in Tommy Tune’s production of Grease. In the 20th Anniversary National Tour of Annie, Sally played Miss Hannigan. Sally was named Best Actress by the Los Angeles Artistic Director Theatre Awards as Louise Seger in the musical, Always, Patsy Cline. She won the Ovation Award as Best Featured Actress in a Musical as Agnes Gooch (Mame) and won a second Ovation Award for Cinderella.
