Explore the spirited music of Eastern Europe, embracing both traditional and modern influences.
- Hungarian Pictures by Béla Bartók
- Trumpet Concerto by Alexander Arutunian
- Symphony No. 9 “From the New World” by Antonín Dvořák
The concert will also spotlight trumpet soloist David Pittell, whose performance of Arutunian’s concerto promises to be a highlight of the afternoon.
