COVID-19 (CORONAVIRUS) UPDATES REGARDING SHOW SCHEDULES

UPDATE MARCH 17, 2020

Dear La Mirada Theatre patrons:

We have new dates for THE SOUND OF MUSIC and MAMMA MIA, and are re-scheduling other shows, owing to the CDC’s latest recommendation that there be no gatherings of over 50 people until after May 10.

The new dates for THE SOUND OF MUSIC will be May 15 to June 7.

The new dates for MAMMA MIA will be June 12 to July 5.

In addition, we will be rescheduling the following acts:

BOSSA NOVA WAVE (originally scheduled for April 3)

CLASSIC ALBUMS LIVE – FLEETWOOD MAC’s “RUMOURS” (originally scheduled for April 4)

CIRCUS SCIENCE SPECTACULAR (originally scheduled for April 5)

THE CENTER OF THE UNIVERSE (originally scheduled for April 9)

THE BRUBECK BROTHERS (originally scheduled for May 12)

LA MIRADA SYMPHONY (originally scheduled for May 17)

DANCE, DANCE, DANCE! (originally scheduled for May 22)

SOL DE MEXICO (originally scheduled for June 27)

 

If you have tickets for the above shows, there are several options:

  1. Keep the tickets and seat locations you currently have now.  Your tickets will be valid on the new performance date to be determined after we consult with the Artists.
  2. Receive a credit in the form of a gift certificate that never expires and is valid for any upcoming performance at La Mirada Theatre.
  3. Donate the tickets and receive a tax deduction for the total ticket value.
  4. Or if you prefer, receive a full refund for the event.

With the expected volume of emails, it may take us 3-5 business days to respond, but rest assured that we will get back to you.

Given the fluid nature of the situation, we will alert you immediately if any changes need to be made to the above schedule.

UPDATE – March 12, 2020

Dear La Mirada Theatre patrons,

Yesterday, we assured you that we would be monitoring the COVID-19 situation closely and responding accordingly.

Today, the Governor and public health officials have recommended that all gatherings of over 250 people be postponed until after March 31st, and we will be following that recommendation.

All performances through March 31st at La Mirada Theatre will be postponed until future dates to be determined.

Specifically, this policy applies to the following shows:

BRANDON HEATH – MARCH 12

A TRIBUTE TO JOHNNY CASH – MARCH 13

THE CLAIRVOYANTS – MARCH 14

THE RIGHTEOUS BROTHERS – MARCH 20 & 21

SO NOW YOU KNOW – MARCH 22

THE TAP PACK – MARCH 25

ENGELBERT HUMPERDINCK – MARCH 27

THE BENNY GOODMAN ORCHESTRA & THE FOUR FRESHMAN – MARCH 29

If you have tickets for the above shows, there are several options:

  1. Keep the tickets and seat locations you currently have now.  Your tickets will be valid on the new performance date to be determined after we consult with the Artists.
  2. Receive a credit in the form of a gift certificate that never expires and is valid for any upcoming performance at La Mirada Theatre.
  3. Or if you prefer, receive a full refund for the event.
